Murder in the dark is a thriller mystery movie, which involves a man who is an inspector but is hypnotized into killing these women who the mafia want dead. The woman is also his partner. The man is then set on the to solve the investigation and also along the way begins to lose his mind as the case is so twisted and corrupt and also goes on a rampage and kills a large amount of the mafia and as he catches the leader and interrogates him and the leader starts to twist him and which makes him lose the plot slightly and beats up his chief and almost kills him, he is then suspended and realised of the case however still goes on to find the truth and then gets close to finding the answer however gets shot and is put into a coma and is in hospital for 4 months of which most of is in a coma, when he wakes up he is striped of his badge and not allowed to be a detective for 3 years. He recovers over and still purses to resolve the case and at the end figures out that e killed his partner and cant take it and kills himself.

Synopsis of whole film

We are trying to make our film similar to Sherlock Holmes We looked at the cinematography, and acting and want our film to have those same influences.

Moreover were only filming two minutes of footage that we will edit together at a later date; but we are determined to make it quality filming. We have a variety of different ideas for costumes, props and makeup.

We will edit our clips together and add strange and eerie techniques to make our clips unique and different, we will also include creepy sound effects. Influences

Our film will be designed to appeal to a smaller audience. And if we were actually going to make the whole film it would probably fall under the Art House film category as it will appeal to a smaller and more selective type of audience.

Our film will probably attract audiences of a more alternative nature, as our film is going to be quite morbid. Although there will probably be some exceptions.

We plan to make our clips as detailed and morbid as possible, in a very tasteful way.
