Create a sales portal accessible by people without access
to inside.abb.com
A centralized location for factory information such as
contacts and lead times
A platform for the Business Units to share news,
information and tools with the sales force

Purpose

Power Sales Portal
Accessible to all US Power Sales, including independent reps and distributors
A secure site, so approval and authorization are needed and requires a log in
Send requests for access to [email protected] with your name, company name, email and phone number or fill out this form
All ABB direct employees have automatic access and do not need to register or approval; use your ABB internet email address and Windows password (this is the one when you first sign onto your computer); go to www.abb.com/powersales
The /NONABB accounts do not work, so if you are not a direct ABB employee, then you will need an external email address to register
Registrations are open to all employees of a company, you do not have to share one account (though you are welcome to)

Step by step access to ABB’s Power Sales Portal
Authorization has to be done through Lalania Corces either
by sending an email to [email protected] with
your name, company name, email and phone number or fill
out this form
You cannot request authorization from abb.com (see
picture)
Once you are authorized, I send you an email with
instructions. The set up is complicated, so please reference
this presentation or the email I send to you confirming your
authorization.

First
Lalania Corces will submit your authorization to the site
She will send you an email with this presentation letting
you know your authorization has been submitted
You will receive an email from My ABB within a few days
(check junk/spam folder)
Please follow these directions immediately upon receipt of
that email
Once you have email from My ABB similar to the one below (check spam/junk folder
Set up My ABB account
Reference your email from My ABB (slide 3)
Enter the email address and temporary
password listed in that email and hit Login
Set up My ABB account
Now you must change your password
Your current or temporary password is from the email from My ABB (slide 3)
Be sure to follow the password rules for your new password
Hit change password button, next slide
Set up My ABB account
If it does not like your password, review the rules, correct as needed
If it takes your password, you will go back to Log in; Your account IS
NOT COMPLETE YET; use your same email address and new
Password and hit Login
Set up My ABB account
Choose a security question and answer and hit
update
Set up My ABB account
Your account is now set up, choose Technical
Partners
Set up My ABB account
Choose Power Technical Partners
This is what you will see if your preference is set for United States of America, Mexico or Canada
If you see this page, change your preference to United States of America, Mexico or Canada
Access Power Sales Portal
Can also go directly to
https://www.abb.com/powersales to access site
anytime
Log on using your email address from the email
(slide 3) and the new password you set for yourself
Access
If you get this Authentication Required, enter your email
and password, then Log In

Common problems
Forgot password/incomplete set up
Not using exact email you are registered under (wesco.com vs wescodist.com)
Check spam/junk folder for My ABB emails with original password or reset passwords
Follow through in a timely manner after you receive the email from me saying you are authorized or resetting your password; the temporary link expires
Don’t hit password reset multiple times because you haven’t received your email (check junk/spam folder)
Can’t see what you are looking for
Make sure your preferences are set to USA, Canada or Mexico
Try going directly to www.abb.com/powersales
Can also try different internet browsers (Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc). Some may work better for you.
Clear cookies
To reset password
Go to www.abb.com
Click Lock icon from left
Click Forgot your password
To clear cookies
Will depend on your browser, but for an example using
Internet Explorer 9; go to Tools > Internet Options >
General > Browsing history > Delete
