Life Groups are at the core of all ministries here at Eastview. From KidsTown to Youth and Young Adults and into Men’s and Women’s ministry our hope is that everyone who calls Eastview home would find a place in a Life Group where they can be cared for, discipled and equipped to disciple others.

Did you know that … All Ministry Personnel when serving

children are to wear an identifier (shirt, nametag, lanyard,

etc) that clearly indicates their position. It is recommended

that all Ministry Personnel be identifiable whenever they

are serving any age group.

EASTVIEW MISSIONS Advent Appeal: During this advent season, Eastview is once again taking part in Advent Appeal. This is our chance as a church body to raise funds that go toward our yearly missions budget. These generous gifts make their way to supporting our various missions partners and supported ministries throughout the year. This is another incredible way that we can show love to individuals and organizations that are making a difference in sharing the good news about Jesus. At our Christmas Eve service, you will have a chance to give donations towards Advent Appeal. If you’re unable to attend that service, you can make a donation to Eastview anytime before that and designate your offering to ADVENT APPEAL. We hope that you and your family would join us in radical generosity!

- Thanks, Eastview Mission Committee

HAPPENINGS PAGE

Operation Christmas Child Over 100 shoe boxes were filled and dropped off in our foyer this year to bless kids around the world! Thanks Eastview!

Hey church family, this Christmas eve we are so looking forward to gathering together for a festive night full of tasty treats, heartwarming carols and inspiring story telling. This Christmas, we want to think missionally and reach out to our neighbours, our friends, our family and our co-workers and invite them to experience Jesus in a fresh new way. To make this happen, we need your help. We have some invite cards that are at the welcome centre - take one, pray over it, and think about who you are going to invite to come join us this Christmas eve. As neighbours, friends, coworkers and family come and experience Christmas eve here at Eastview, we want this to be a night they’ll remember, so we’ll also need help in a few more areas:

Baking - If you love to bake, or have a few Christmas favourites, please bake a little extra this year and drop them off at the church to share with those coming on Christmas Eve. A sign-up sheet is at the Welcome Centre.

Contact: [email protected]

Campfire Carols - The youth band will be singing Christmas Carols around a campfire outside! if you have firewood, a portable campfire or want to join in the singing please let us know!

Serving Warm Drinks - We need some volunteers to make and hand out warm cups of hot chocolate and apple cider in the foyer.
