Prantik was established in October 1998 by visionary Managing Director Engr. Md. Golam Sarwar (CEng, CMarEng,FIMarEST,
FRINA, FCILT, MSNAME,MBA, PGD). Engr. Md. Golam Sarwar invested and established the company with a single office with an initial staff amounting to five people. Fast forwarding two decades, the company has expanded far and wide, with offices set up in Singapore and the United States of America; the Global Head Office in Chittagong is complemented by a workshop
and a shipyard located in Bhatiyari, Chittagong – effectively employing a workforce of well over a hundred people.
