Submitting forms to Student Services

• Complete a YELLOW Transcript Request form-name of college(s)-on counter in Student Services office

• Include:• Letters of recommendations (2-3) allow 7-10 days to write• Student profile or resume-or attach electronically• Personal Statement or Essay-or attach electronically• Other documentation requested• Turn all forms/letters/etc. to the SS secretary• Provide stamps and envelop for mailing within 2-3 days or school

Military opportunities

• ASVAB-stands for Armed Forces Vocational Battery, a multi-aptitude test battery taken by juniors and seniors in HS. The battery consists of 10 short individual tests, which cover:

• 1. Word knowledge• 2. Paragraph Comprehension• 3. Arithmetic Reasoning• 4. Mathematics Knowledge• 5. General Science • 6. Auto and Shop Information• 7. Mechanical Comprehension• 8. Electronics Information• 9. Numerical Operations• 10. Coding Speed• The ASVAB is a good reflection on how well you have developed your academic occupational

abilities.

• The ASVAB is free and will be given on Oct. 27thth @ 7:30 am here at Preble. Sign up will be approx. 1-2 weeks before the test date.
