It is a mixture of rubber andtextile. We use rubber for cushion and textile for stability. Footing made from recycled athletic shoes provides reduced shear, stable traction and durable cushioning. is suited for dressage, jumping, western pleasure, vaulting, and all other types of arenas.Because of the traction and cushioning provided by ATHLETEXTM it performs great formulti-purpose arenas.
The recycling process produces two types of Athletex; light and heavy. The Athletex Light is mainly the top part of the shoe, woven and non-woven synthetic textiles. The AthletexHeavy is mainly from the bottom of the shoe, natural and synthetic rubber of various densities. Both products Athletex Light and Athletex Heavy contain textile and rubber. Thedifference is Athletex Light has more textiles and Athletex Heavy has more rubber. Rubberenhances cushion while textile enhances stability.

Premier Hydro-Keep is a safe, non-toxic chemical crystal that can reduce your arena watering considerably. The crystals work by rapidly absorbing the water and retaining it. Over time as the soil dries, the water isgradually released from the crystal, hydrating the surrounding area. The crystal expands when watered then contracts as the water is released. As an added benefit, this continuous expansion and contraction reduces soil compaction.

The unit uses vibrating "S" tines that can be set to your desired digging depth.Following the tines is a leveling bar that will shave off high spots and fill in anyholes as you pass over the arena.
