Reading Read aloud simple texts (print and electronic) that include frequently used wordsIdentify and use letter-sound relationshipsUnderstand and use some concepts related to print e.g. word-by-word matching, return sweeps etc.
Write simple texts using simple punctuation, conventional letters and groups of letters
Use spelling strategies that rely on knowledge of letter-sound relationships
