PEOPLE & things

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Mary & Leon Idoine. Mary & Leon’s funeral will be held on Monday at 11.00am.

Welcome home to Liz Smith who has been away on holiday overseas.

Thank you to those people who took part in the dramatized reading in last weeks services ‘In Celebration of Women’. Thanks you also to Kay for the preparation she put into this service.

Kay’s Ordination to the Priesthood will take place at 10am on Saturday 2nd December at Holy Trinity Cathedral. Mark the date in your diary now!

Thank you to our Pre-School Music Committee and helpers who are having a well deserved break over the school holiday period.

Our new kitchen is being installed in the hall this week. The renovation will take about two weeks. Thank you to those ladies who have been organizing items for the new kitchen.

Our Garage Sale will be on the 11th November this year. So start putting aside those things you no longer need. The container will be available to place things in from the 17th October. We also need volunteers for setting up on the Friday and for the Garage Sale itself. If you can help please put your name on the list at the back of the church or contact the parish office.

We are in desperate need of people to go on the church cleaning roster. If you can help please contact the Parish Office.

Our Kids’ Club is growing in numbers and we are urgently in need of more volunteers for the afternoon walking School Bus from Kohimarma School to St. Andrew’s. If you can help please talk to Stephen.

Our local Orakei Food Bank is in need of non-perishable food. Please put donations in our weekly food basket at the front of the church.
