The City Council launched in April its new Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan that designs a new concept of mobility for Zaragoza which combines physical, social and economic transformation of the urban territory, and a broad concept of sustainability.
The Urban Plan proposes 15 main fields to improve mobility in Zaragoza, which include the participation in the Mobility City project, specifically in the ICT Strategy (Information and Communication Technologies).
Promote R&D + innovation activities related to sustainable transportation.

In September 2019, 31 companies and entities had joined as members.
The project was presented to the public in June 2018.

ZAHA HADID BRIDGE
The Mobility City headquarters are located in the Bridge Pavilion situated in the Zaragoza Expo premises.
Opening to the public is planned for early 2020.
The emblematic building, designed by the architect Zaha Hadid, is a symbol of innovation.
The building is one of the most personal designs of the acclaimed architect.

A test and awareness-raising area has recently been inaugurated for urban personal mobility vehicles.
An adjacent space to the Bridge Pavilion, including the so-called Digital Water Pavilion.

MOTORLAND
Motorland is a worldwide benchmark facility in the motor world.
The Alcañiz circuit will be placed at the disposal of participating enterprises.
Motorland also provides a comprehensive events service.

FORUM
THE NATIONAL MOBILITY PANEL
The National Sustainable Mobility Panel is a forum for exchange and analyze of the new mobility in Spain, sponsored by the Ministry of Industry.
It will be comprised of administrations, public institutions and entities, and by the private sector.
Mobility City will be the permanent seat of the National Sustainable Mobility Panel as a benchmark project.
The objective will be for Spain to achieve efficient mobility, inspired by the principles of sustainability, connectivity and safety. A reference for all, from Zaragoza.
Creation of the Anfac Electric Vehicle Commission. The National Car and Truck Manufacturers’ Association chose the Mobility City headquarters. State and regional authorities attended the event.

Mobility City proposes a large number of activities that will take place at the different Ibercaja Foundation facilities, such as at the Zaha Hadid Bridge in 2019 and 2020.
PLUG AND PLAY. STARTUPS
Two events (Innovation Days) per year to connect the open Plug and Play innovation platform to Mobility City members.
The first event was held in Etopia on the 28th of May.
The second will take place in Madrid on th 12th November
