The System

REPORTING

The reporting menu option is where you can perform searches on single or multiple

consignments. You just need to enter your date range and select from services at bottom of

page. You can report using either consignment number or postcode. You can report on the

following criteria:-

Delivered, Out for Delivery, Out for Collection, Other, Carded, Check Address, Book In,

Service Fail, Returns, Re-Direct, Nothing to Collect and Missing.

How did we do?

Typical Weekly Report

• XDP uses a handheld phone scanner unit to complete deliveries and collections

• Each of these units is running on our custom in-house developed software.

• Each of these units are fully tracked and provide accurate up-to-date information about your consignments / shipments

Equipment used by XDP

• Our Drivers use something called ‘Runsheets’ to carry out the deliveries to our customers.

• Each of these ‘Runsheets’ contain information about each allocated delivery, such as:Delivery Address / Additional Contact

Our Runsheets also contain unique ‘Data Matrix Codes’ that allow our Phone Scanner Units to access all of the above information and carry out the deliveries.

Runsheet Used by Our Drivers

• At the start of each day, our drivers will load the ‘Runs’ assigned to them.

• Once a driver loads a ‘Run’ on their scanner units, using the Data Matrix Code at the bottom of the ‘Runsheet’, all of the consignments that need to be delivered will be loaded on their scanners.

• Once a ‘Run’ has been loaded, your consignee will be sent a Delivery E-Mail and / or SMS (optional)

Loading the ‘Run’

Once the driver has loaded his run, your customer will receive a Pre-Alert

letting them know that their parcel is on the way. There are 3 types Pre-

Alerts available.• Email

• SMS

• Text Message

Delivery Pre-Alerts

Once the Driver has reached your

customer to deliver the consignment,

and the customer is at home, our

driver will make the delivery.

Once your customer is happy, the

driver will ask for a signature to be

provided (if the item cannot be left

safe).

When the customer has signed the

document, proving that they have

received the shipment, the driver will

then scan the run-sheet with the

scanner unit to upload a photo of the

signature to our system.

Delivering Your Parcel

If any of our customers request us to leave goods in a

safe place we will and we also take a image of where

the goods were left.

Proof of DeliveryOne of the advantages of the scanner units used by XDP, is the fact that we can take additional photos for Proof of Delivery.

While for the demonstration purposes, the POD (Proof of Delivery) is of the shipment itself, in normal day to day scenarios – the additional photo taken would be of the property where your parcel have been delivered.

As a customer, you have full

tracking capabilities of your

consignment(s)

From the reporting page, you can

access full tracking history of the

consignment including:

• When the consignment has

been collected

• When the customer is sent the

Pre-Alert message

• When the item is scheduled for

delivery

• When the item has been

delivered

The Reporting screen also allows

you to see the PODs taken by the

driver.

Your View

Your customers, our consignees,

have access to a tracking page

through our website as long as

they have 2 of the following

things:

• Consignment Number

• Delivery / Collection

Postcode

From the tracking screen, your

customers will be able to track

the exact location of the parcel

/ shipment, as well as:

• Scheduled Delivery Time

• If the item has been collected

/ delivered

We offer the following integration methods for our customers:

• API Integration- Upload using .XML files

• XDP Label Tool Integration- Using our own in-house software

• CSV Upload - Where Comma Separated Files can be uploaded to

our website.
