First of all, APPIE’s story is a friendship story, between 5 good friends! They met during their

higher education in the PARIS DAUPHINE University. After being graduated, each one starts his

professional life but stay friends. Highly attracted by entrepreneurship, they used to meeting on the

weekend to share their ideas as innovative as possible.

In the meetings: drinking sometimes some cider to go well with their talking, they observe

how outdated early 2014, they realize that what they are looking for is right in front of their eyes

during their is this beverage and deserves a strong facelift.

The five friends go to meet some cider producers to know them, understand better the product,

taste and re taste hundreds of cider recipes. Their project was born: bring cider up to date ,

working as well on the taste as the look and to spread it in all the restaurants and bars they

use to go .

The IDEA of the « CINQ CIDRÉS »

They meet Hervé, cider producer since 25 years in a prestigious head House, and immediately

the contact is positive and comprehensive. Together they are a mix of the youth daring, open-mindedness, experience and tradition

01. INTRODUCTION

After 6 months of joint efforts, the first APPIE cider is born and on the same time our friends launch their company called: “Les Cinq Cidrés” and the label APPIE.

APPIE is giving a fresh look at an old fashion beverage. We create a trend setter cider because we are consumers unsatisfied by the existing product and want to create a cider which reflects our personality. A new approach: to free ourselves from the social convention and offer a contemporary
