Another fault with this masthead is how thin the font its. For it to stand out and reach the audience targeted there has to be more emphasis around the letters. However the for Arial font is a nice clear to read. This was the least popular with my target audience, common sense tells me to develop on my faults.

This masthead isn’t wasn’t one of the best, it’s faults lie in the size, taking up to much space vertically. This would over too much of my central image. Another fault with this masthead is how thin the font its. For it to stand out and reach the audience targeted there has to be more emphasis around the letters. However the for Arial font is a nice clear to read.

This was the least popular with my target audience, common sense tells me to develop on my faults.

This mast head wasn’t very popular with my target audience.

I stuck with the Arial font for this mast head as it’s still easy to read. The colour however doesn’t fit too well with the colour scheme it’s got quite a green tinge on it. Making the image 3D draws in the eye more.

I felt appropriate for my research. It stuck with the colour theme (BLUE) and looks interesting. The rings around the title create lines which draw the audience inwards towards the magazine also making it seem 3D. I also thought this appropriate because the rings look like a vibration subconsciously creating a visual sound. Encouraging my music genre. Once again sticking with the Arial font because it’s clear and easy to read.

As you can see from my results this was a popular choice for the masthead when referring back to my 10 subjects representing my target audience.

4This is by far my favourite design. It has a real power to it and the forceful sparks represent the excitement I want my magazine to hold, also creating a 3D effect. There are still some edits which could be made to the colour and size of the font but the colour scheme fits. This is my final creation and the one I have decided to use. There is also no background so it can be placed over an image without obscuring the image. Sticking with Arial font.

The results from my target audience show this is the most preferred Masthead. Making it the most appropriate to draw in the right audience.
