    SATURDAY, JULY 25, 2015: RACE DAYTimes are subject to change! Clubs and paddlers should remain nearby and be available 30 minutes of

    either side of designated times. Listen for announcements and be sure to check the schedule on the day of the event. There will be a boat pool for OC-6 canoes.

    The RulesLEADBETTER BEACH - SITE RULES & REGULATIONSPlease be considerate and respectful of the following rules for our race site. Like all races, our ability to continue hosting this event at Leadbetter Beach is dependent on our following the rules.

    » NO USE OF STAKES ON THE GRASS AREAS! (The use of stakes may damage the park’s irrigation lines. If you do damage these lines, you will be required to pay for that damage.) All tents and canopies must be erected without stakes.

    » No camping or overnight campers permitted at Leadbetter Beach. » No club setup on the grass area. » No BBQs permitted » No dogs on the beach. (Grass area is okay.) » Absolutely NO alcohol permitted except in the Beer garden.

    Please Remember Consumption of alcohol outside the designated beer garden is not permitted. We want everyone to have a great time at State Sprints. If you plan on drinking, please drink responsibly, designate a driver and make sure that all drinking is done in the designated beer garden. Like all races, our ability to continue hosting this event at Leadbetter Beach is dependent on everyone following the rules… most importantly this one.

  • DirectionsCOMING FROM THE NORTH101 Freeway to Santa Barbara. Take the Castillo Street exit. Turn right on Castillo Street heading to-ward the ocean. Turn right on Cabrillo Boulevard. Travel approximately .5 miles to Leadbetter Beach parking lot (on left).

    COMING FROM THE SOUTH101 Freeway to Santa Barbara. Take Garden Street exit. Turn left on Garden Street. Turn right on Ca-brillo Boulevard, continue along the waterfront for approximately 2 miles to Leadbetter Beach parking lot (on left).

    ParkingAVAILABILITYParking is available for all vehicles (except trailers) at Leadbetter Beach parking lot. After unloading, trailers will be directed to a separate but nearby location to park. (Note: there will be a boat pool for the OC-6 Sprint races.)

    PARKING FEES$12 per day per parking stall (drivers of canoe trailers should expect to pay for 2-3 stalls for your tow-ing vehicle and trailer as prescribed by the SB Waterfront Parking regulations).

    Raffle & MerchandiseWant to go home with a new SUP paddle, a gift certificate for a one-night stay and dinner for two in the Santa Ynez Valley, or wines from our famous wine country? Bring some cash because our 34th State Sprints raffle has some pretty awesome prizes! Credit cards accepted.
