● For tank level control● Standard sizes from 1.5” to DN300. Up to DN500 possi-

ble.● Simple design for maximum reliability.● Float pilot assembly can be mounted remotely from

main valve.● Body materials in Bronze, Cast Iron, Ductile Iron and

316 stainless steel.● Minimum pressure required 0.3Bar, 1.5Bar recom-

mended.● NBR or Viton sealing options.● Supplied with remote SS float, lever and pilot valve.

Float Level Control Valves

When the float arm is level, the inlet fluid is blocked by the main valve piston except for the fluid that flows through the pilot circuitto the remote float valve. This prevents the main piston from opening under the effect of the inlet pressure. As the float armdrops, the pilot circuit opens allowing the pressure behind the piston to dissipate so that the inlet pressure pushes the piston offthe seat. The inlet flow will maintain the valve open until the float rises again and closes off the pilot circuit.

These valves are ideal for maintaining levels in water or fuel storage tanks and other fluids are possible subject to materialcompatibility.

Direct Operated Pressure Reducing Valves

In this valve design, the outlet pressure acts on a balanced piston that directly opposes the setpoint adjustment spring. Sealing iseffected by the piston seals and a diaphragm, preventing the possibility of leakage. This design ensures quick response andaccurate downstream pressure adjustment. High temperature versions of some models are designed for steam applications.

For the low pressure models P15 & P39, the control element is a large area diaphragm rather than piston to give more sensitivityand greater accuracy by reducing frictional losses.

Pilot Operated Pressure Reducing Valves

In this valve design, the main valve outlet pressure passes to a dedicated external pilot regulator that feeds a control pressure tomodulate the main valve piston as it controls the downstream pressure. The externally mounted regulator offers excellentsetpoint sensitivity and speed of response without the need for additional pipework.

Compact design and ease of servicing makes these valves ideal for installation in confined spaces such as pits, conduits and channels.

In the direct operation valve, the inlet pressure acts on a balanced piston that directly opposes the setpoint adjustment spring.Sealing is effected by the piston seals and a diaphragm, preventing the possibility of leakage. This design ensures quick responseand accurate upstream pressure adjustment.

Pilot Operated Solenoid Valves

The P05 series solenoid valve comprises a hydraulic piston valve controlled by an external pilot solenoid valve. This gives excellentflow performance through the main valve with reliability and ease of servicing.

Due to the compact design, these are frequently employed in applications where space is limited and/or the quick fail closedoperation is necessary. They are often selected instead of electrically actuated ball valves which require significantly more spacefor installation and maintenance.

Installation can be in horizontal pipes or vertical with flow downwards. Vertical flow upwards is not recommended except wherethe inlet pressures and flow rates are high.

Water Hammer Arrestors

These devices allow pressure transients to dissipate through the compression of the trapped air in the diaphragm chamber thuspreventing potential damage to pipework and valves as well as reducing noise. Although they are designed for water systems, theycan also be used for air applications and there are special versions for use on acids/alkalis or light oil.

All of the units have Schrader valves to enable the adjustment of the internal air pressure and the flanged models also have athreaded port for the fitment of pressure gauges.
