Greenwell’s line of pressure control equipment includes external screen plug catchers, dual hydraulic choke manifolds and command centers. All of our pressure control equipment adheres to API6A, PSL3-PR1,H2S and NACE protocols.

Most jobs are completed with standard service 2’’ and 3’’ fl ow iron but H2S fl ow iron is available upon request.

Plug CatcherHydraulic valve and hydraulic choke attaches directly to external screen plug catcher

Equipped with panic line – can bypass plug catcher without stopping operations

Flanged design – no hammer units that can potentially fail

Custom-designed gas buster with screen – allows personnel to see debris removing and collect plug parts and samples

Holds more plugs than traditional internal screen plug catchers – personnel not required to dump materials as often and removes need for pulling screen on job site

Dual Hydraulic Choke ManifoldDesigned with dual hydraulic valves and dual manual valves – second side available if unexpected failure occurs

Piston-designed chokes open and close chokes quickly – decreases wear and tear on equipment

Equipped with carbide sleeves – eliminates wear and tear downstream

Pressure monitoring is done before and after the plug catcher – alerts to pressure diff erential, indicating plug catcher needs to be dumped

Five and nine valve box manifolds available

Command CenterOperates four hydraulic chokes and eight hydraulic valves

Equipped with desks, dual air conditioning and heating and open space for daily work

Command support center houses air compressor, generator, umbilical hoses and pressure washer system

Pressure washer system can rinse and clean-out equipment

Greenwell’s plug catcher and hydraulic choke manifold is operated from Greenwell’s command center, eliminating the need for personnel to work directly around the well. This keeps personnel at a safe distance and provides them with a comfortable location to conduct everyday business operations.
