Cream of the Crop CSA Item: Small Vegetable Share + One Fruit Share /June to November (22 weeks) Experience the bounty of the harvest without leaving New York City! The produce from Cream of the Crop CSA comes from a conglomerate of amazing small, family farms in New York and Pennsylvania with the majority coming from Hepworth Farms, a seventh generation family owned farm located in Milton, NY. Hepworth’s vegetables and berries are Certified Organic and they practice Integrative Pest Management when farming the rest of their fruit. Small vegetables shares include 8-11 vegetable options per week and each fruit share has approximately 5 pounds per week. Distribution occurs weekly on Tuesdays at the Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew.

Roxbury Farm CSA Item: Large Vegetable Share/June to November (22 Weeks) Scenic Roxbury Farm in Kinderhook, New York also distributes weekly (on Thursday evenings) at the Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew. At Roxbury Farm, all produce is also grown naturally without any artificial fertilizer. A full share provides 10-17 pounds of freshly harvested produce each week. Given an average harvest, a share provides enough vegetables to feed two to four adults eating a vegetable based diet (400-450 lbs of produce every season). From June to November each week shareholders receive 7-12 different varieties of vegetables. The varieties of vegetable change with the seasons and start with leafy greens in the spring and root vegetables in the fall.
