Physical Set up an obstacle course using objects from around your house – challenge your family. Think about position, in on under over, next to, in-between in front, Can you travel forwards, backwards, sideways, crawl?

Time to talk Talk to your family and siblings about who are ‘key workers’ and how they are helping us get through these uncertain times.

Reflection What are you grateful for? Write it down. What would you like to do when lockdown is over? Make a listWrite a positive word down and fill the jar, everyone in your family can join in. At the end of the week, you could share time to read them all.

Act of Kindness A secret act of kindness. Work with an older sibling or parent to try to do 5 secret kind actions for someone else in your house throughout the day. You could make their bed, tidy their room, make them a drink, clean their shoes etc.The trick though, is to do all these things AND KEEP IT A SECRET. You can tell them when you’ve done 5 acts of kindness.

If you would like to show your teacher any of your home learning, please take photos and send viaPurple Mash using 2email or email to [email protected]

Physical Activity During Lockdown at Cedars1 st June – 5 th June 2020

Keeping physically fit is essential when maintaining a healthy body and mind. Safely exercising, safely being outside and safely playing with others is very important in these unusual times. I’ve found lots of great videos provided by FA coaches. Please find an adult and search ‘FA Learning At Home’ for videos of all the ideas used here.

Mr WatkinsonMonday Indoor Foot Putting - Kick a small ball (or orange) into a target. E.g. Round some tins, through a cereal box, under a chair and into the

target.Try and get a hole in one, or try your best to get the ball into the target with only 2 or 3 kicks.

Tuesday Holding Hands Keepy Uppy – younger children will need a balloon, older children could use a tennis ball, but all you need is a ball that bounces and a partner. Hold hands with your partner (right hand to right hand) then try to hit the ball to each other over your arms, you need to hit it back to your partner before it bounces more than once.

Wednesday Find It – choose up to 6 objects and spread them out in a circle. You need to stand in the middle of the circle. Your partner needs to call out the name of one object, you then run to it and touch it. Then your partner calls out the name of another object. Keep score, how many can you touch in one minute?

Thursday Bounce And Catch Challenge – You need to place some numbers on the floor and have a ball / balloon ready. Then your partner calls out commands like, “8 and throw.” So you run to the number 8 and throw the ball into the air and catch it. Other actions could be bounce, knee, kick or header.”

Friday Plank Challenge – In the plank position you need to move a ball around your body. Start with it at your head then roll it between your arms, round your legs and back to your head. Can you do it while keeping the ball under control? This is the plank position:
