Average number of students per teacher: 220

2011 survey holds the National Literacy Rate to be around 74.07%

Female literacy was at a national average of 65% whereas the male literacy was 82%

'Absolute non-literates' in the country was 304 million

The U.P. literacy rate presently is 69.72%

IMPLEMENTATIONIn First Year, project would be done in three phases:

I. First Phase – Rural areas of GhaziabadII. Second Phase – Areas of Rural East DelhiIII. Third Phase – Areas of Rural Noida

Activities to be carried out in each phase are as:

Plays in govt. schools Finding rural dropout rates in previous years Distributing Pamphlets Sticking Posters Meeting with parents Soliciting Books & Financial help.




If we are able to attain a decrease in dropout in the range of 3-4% we will call it a decent performance, & will continue with our programme. Anything below that would amount to be a poor performance. Decrease in the range of 4-6% would be excellent performance.

EVALUATION




RECOMMENDATION

The Government should take note of the quantum of migration.

The government and civil society bodies need to turn their attention to address the problems of migration in a systemic way to help deprived children to develop into productive individuals.

Quality education for children, and more encouragement from the government to simplify various processes and providing

bodies with the required support.
