Glycolic Application InstructionsTo perform the treatment, you need to follow instructions carefully. Theresults that you can achieve with the treatment are tremendous and caneffectively improve facial skin.1. Before treatment, we recommend that you do a patch test to determine if

your customer is allergic or sensitive to Glycolic Acid.2 We recommend that you perform a cleaning facial before starting the

Glycolic Facial.3. Let your customer use Glycolic Cream (Day or Night) for at lest a week to

ten days before a Glycolic Facial.4. Diagnose your customer’s condition and determine how many sessions

he/she will need to achieve the maximum benefit from treatment.

The Glycolic Facial:a. Clean skin thoroughly before each treatment with Cleanser and Toner,

matching skin type.b. Apply 5% Glycolic Acid Gel for first facial. The Esthetician should carefully

supervise the treatment and should never leave the customer unattended.Gel can remain on the face up to 5 minutes for the fist time.

A second Glycolic treatment will be performed after a week, and time shouldincrease to 10 minutes.c. If skin is not peeling after the second session, on third session increase the

strength of Glycolic Acid to 10%. Repeat treatment with 10% from one tothree sessions. If skin can take the strength of Glycolic acid Gel, and skindoes not turn pink or red, allow gel more time on skin and you can apply asecond coating of 10% Gel after 5 minutes.

d. If partial areas of skin turn pink or red, rinse off well immediately.e. After 2nd and 3rd session with the 10% Gel, increase the strength of the

Gel to 15% and leave on face for 5 to 10 minutes. Repeat treatment withthe 15% for two to three sessions.

f. After treatment with the 15%, you can now begin the the 30% forte treat-ment. For the first application, allow gel to remain on skin for 1/2 to 1minute. If skin is already healed from peeling, you can increase the time.For mature and wrinkled skin, gel can remain on face for 1 to 3 minutes.

g. For Acne Treatment, use the same procedures from (a) to (e) using GlycolicFacial only on affected area. When skin starts to heal from acne, customercan go on the basic European facial and continue to alternate with theGlycolic Facial once every 2 weeks to help heal scarring and balance pig-mentation.

Finish each treatment with Herbal Moisturizing Mask.5. When customer is on Glycolic Facial, use Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF-15 or

SPF-25 to prevent exposure to the UV rays of sunlight.6. In case partial areas of the face peel more than the rest, let skin heal first

before continuing the Glycolic Facial.7. Customer should continue to use Glycolic Cream (Day or Night) during

treatment and after the sessions are finished.
