Getting StartedSet-upSet-up

• Open Photoshop and your project that you will be printing

• Head to the printer and load the 12x18 paper into Tray1, and set it up for that size and paper type via the top LCD screen.**

Check the image sizeCROP OR CHANGE IT TO 12X18 AT 200 OR 300 PPI

Crop if neededIN THE CROP TOOL, SET THE SETTINGS ACCORDING TO THE SIZE YOU NEED, 12X18 AT 300 PPI LOOKS LIKE THIS.

The Print DialogueLOTS OF SETTINGS, BUT SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND. WE

WILL ONLY BE CHANGING A FEW THINGS.

Set the Printer and paper Size

size1. CLICK PRINT SETTINGS... 2. SET THE PRINTER TO ROCKY...

3. CLICK SHOW DETAILS TO EXPAND THE WINDOW... 4. CHANGE THE PAPER SIZE TO THE 12X18 SIZE.

CHANGE THE LAYOUTPORTRAIT IS THE TALLER ONE, LANDSCAPE IS THE WIDER ONE.

CHOOSE THE ONE THAT APPLIES BEST TO YOUR LAYOUT.

Scale your Image to fitCLICK THE SCALE TO FIT MEDIA BOX. THE PERCENTAGE

BELOW SHOULD BE 97% IF EVERYTHING IS CORRECT.

Now click printHEAD OVER TO THE PRINTER AND SEE WHAT

THAT IS NOW ASKING FOR YOU TO TELL IT TO DO.

Head to the printer.• The DATA light should be flashing. All is Okay...• The ATTENTION light will flash. Look at the LCD

and figure out what settings need to be input. • The paper size and type will need to be input,

otherwise the toner will not stick to the page if the paper is heavy.

• You will have to submit one perfectly printed copy from ROCKY for the points. ROCKY image defects will not be deducted.

• Pairing up is ideal and suggested...doing it for someone is frowned upon.
