With regard to the subject read above, I wish to inform you that the SIEMAT has

developed Tools and Manual of instructions for assessment of Achievement Achievement Achievement Achievement Levels of Levels of Levels of Levels of

competencies among Childrencompetencies among Childrencompetencies among Childrencompetencies among Children studying from class I to VIII in Govt. / local body, Primary

schools & Upper Primary schools and elementary sections of High schools. The purpose of

the programme is to know Achievement Levels of competencies of children in Elementary

sections, necessary changes in Teacher learning process, assess teacher training

requirements and to identify Teaching Learning Material (TLM).

the district level training can be completed in two days ie., on 5th & 6th February,2013.

At Mandal level, the training programme will be conducted on 8th February 2013 in

all mandals.

The tool can be administered on 12th February in all Primary Schools and Primary

Sections of Upper Primary Schools. On 13th February, tool can be administered in Upper

Primary sections of U.P Schools and 6, 7, 8th classes of High Schools.

The evaluated Tools along with student grade, Subject Grade, Class Grade & School

Grade shall be submitted to CRPs on 14th who will in turn submit to MEO on the same day.

MEOs shall submit mandal profile and used & unused Tools to PO by 15th February. The PO

shall prepare District profile by 20th February and submit to this office by 23-2-2013.

The Project Officers are instructed to print Hand out of instructions containing 30

pages, Assessment Tools, Answer sheets and School Information Proforma. Map Litho white

paper 80 GSM shall be used for this purpose. The detail instructions on how many tools,

Answer sheets & Handouts are to be printed are given in the Handout. The Handouts are to

be printed well in advance before commencement of training programmes at district Level

under any circumstances. They are permitted to utilise an amount @ of Rs, 6/- (Six Rupees)

per child for printing Tools, Answer Sheets and Hand out copies vide Annexure. The

District Project Officers, RVM (SSA) of respective Districts have to incur this expenditure

from the Budget available under REMS.

Further, the District Educational Officers, the Principals of DIETs and the Project

Officers of RVM (SSA) concerned are requested to depute the Resource Persons and instruct

them to attend the above said programme without fail. T.A, D.A and Honorarium will be

paid by SPO as per norms.
