Riensch & Held GmbH & Co. KG was founded by A. Riensch in 1845 and gradually

became a remarkable trading house among the Americas and Germany. For the last

three decades, the firm has focused its activity on the worldwide growing market

of household filters and gourmet accessories.

Through its series of patents and registered designs, Riensch & Held has

positioned itself as an inventive manufacturer. Whereas it once imported coffee

and exported machinery, it now holds the leading role in the manufacturing of

biodegradable tea filters. The company also manufactures a wide range of OEM

filter components for electrical appliances as well as for the leading tea and

coffee brands.

In 2001 the company launched its first product under its brand finum®. Today the

brand’s designs create a full line of award-winning and patented accessories for tea,
