【Delta Ethernet Solution】

Ethernet features high-speed networks for up to 100 Mbps, CAT5e cable for up to 100 meters of

communication distance. Ethernet’s high speed transmission delivers real-time data of the on-site

equipment to the management system for users to monitor factory operations and production

progress. Ethernet networks allow data exchange among all communication modules without

designating server or client, to achieve high-speed and flexible industrial data transmission.

Delta provides various Ethernet communication products, including the Network Type Advanced

Slim PLC, communication modules, remote I/O, and gateways. The products support Ethernet/IP

and MODBUS TCP communication protocols to help customers build a comprehensive Ethernet

Various Ethernet-based controllers to achieve high-speed communication

• Delta provides various Ethernet-based controllers, including the Hot Swappable Mid-range

PLC AH500 Series, the Compact Modular Mid-range PLC AS300 Series, the Network

Type Advanced Slim PLC DVP-SE Series, the Standard PLC with built-in Ethernet

interface DVP-ES2-E Series, and the General Motion Controller DVP-PM Series

DVP-PM Series (with communication card), to fulfill the demand for Ethernet communication

in industrial automation. The following product introduction will feature the Network Type

Advanced Slim PLC DVP-SE Series

Network Type Advanced Slim PLC DVP-SE Series

• Delta Network Type Advanced Slim PLC DVP-SE Series adopts a 32-bit CPU for

high-speed processing, 16k steps program capacity, and built-in Mini USB port, Ethernet

port, and 2 sets of RS-485 ports for convenient communication interfaces. For Ethernet

communication, the DVP-SE Series supports EtherNet/IP and MODBUS TCP protocols to

fulfill the demands of the two major Ethernet communications, and the IP filter function as a

firewall for first line protection against malware and network threats

Ethernet communication module DVPEN01-SL

• Delta Ethernet communication module DVPEN01-SL provides data exchange tables for

module setting. Simply input the IP address of slave stations, registers and data exchange

records to complete data exchange setup without manually programming

Ethernet remote I/O module RTU-EN01

• Delta Ethernet remote I/O module RTC-EN01 can be equipped with all Delta Slim PLC

DVP-S Series for AIO / DIO communication. In addition, the Network Type Advanced Slim

PLC DVP-SE Series and the remote I/O module adopt RTU-Mapping function that matches

AIO / DIO values to M coil and D Register in the controllers, to achieve remote control

• With a built-in MODBUS TCP to RS-485 function, the remote I/O module RTU-EN01 can

directly connect on-site equipment such as power drives and sensors via RS-485 port for

convenient communication conversion

• The RTU-EN01 also provides RS-232 ports for touch screen installation during program

setting

Gateway IFD Series

• Delta offers two types of gateway products: the IFD9506 and the IFD 9507 Series. Each

gateway can connect up to 32 devices via RS-485 protocols, and provides a Smart Monitor

function for fast data response. In addition, the gateway’s RS-485 ports are fully isolated

from power for operation safety

• Delta’s gateway IFD9506 Series converts one port MODBUS to

MODBUS TCP protocol. Customers can designate the Ethernet

server and client based on their needs

• Delta’s gateway IFD9507 Series converts one port MODBUS to

EtherNet/IP protocol

【Delta DeviceNet Solution】

The DeviceNet protocol features anti-interference, communication speed up to 500 Kbps with a

distance up to 500 meters, and is suitable for applying in real-time command control. Delta

provides various and comprehensive control products that support DeviceNet protocols, such as

the Slim Type PLC DVP-S Series (except for the DVP-SS2 Series), and the Multi-axis Motion

Controller DVP-MC Series. The solution also provides a variety of communication modules,

including master/slave modules, remote I/O module and gateway.

【Delta CANopen Solution】

The speed of the CANopen protocol can be up to 1Mbs with a distance up to 500 meters.

CANopen protocol is usually matched with field devices such as power drives and AC servo

systems for real-time and precise motion control and positioning.

Delta provides various products to fulfill different demands for CANopen communication, including

the small PLC DVP Series, the Multi-axis Motion Controller DVP-MC Series, as well as master

/ slave communication modules, remote I/O and gateway, to achieve high-precision motion control

and high-efficiency data transmission.
