Created a more tapered shape
Made taper 200mm to be
more comfortable
(Alvin R. Tilley, 1993)
Starting point
ComfortImproving Grip
Hand Size 1 2
Small This is comfortable but cant reach the screen.
I prefer this diameter. Need a sweeping fit on the back.
Large This one is better. Fingers hit the back
3 4
Small The taper is good semi comfortable, could do with a lower depth to reach the ‘screen better’
This is the most comfortable of them all, can reach the ‘buttons’ really easily, a nice flowing shape’
Large The taper is too small for my palm a more flowing one would be better.
This is much better much more comfortable good clearance from handle to the ‘screen’.

Improve Viewing Angle
Viewing angle of the product will be >45 Degrees.
This is because the product is mostly used for viewing. This product is only interacted with oncein normal use for the ‘yes’ button. The stand could
possibly be adjustable. However this is not essential. Interaction while doing the settings will
be done by others and not the intended user.

F40 ‘The flowers would be very hard to dust’
Flowers are targeted towards women more,
men might not like them
If I was buying this for my mum I would choose no. 4 as it would be the easiest to clean.
The flowers on the stand were added as a blue sky idea to do something slightly different. As well as being inspired by 2/3rs of people with dementia being women. However functionality of the flowers were raised when it was considered cleaning the product.
