The Australian Government is investing $90 billion in constructing some of the most technologically advanced ships and submarines in the world, which will play a pivotal role in ensuring the defence of our borders and stability of our region. This investment will create approximately 15,000 jobs across many diverse job families. The position requires the management of a series of activities to accomplish a goal within a start and end date. Project Managers use self-directed application of project management knowledge and skills with substantial experience in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques. Development of strategic initiatives and responsibility for performing complex technical project management operations including planning and evaluation functions. Follow the direction of a Program Manager, Project Director, Executive Project Director or senior manager.
