The Drexel Field Hockey Most Valuable Player award is named after all-time great, Helen Callas Reiner. The 1957 graduate is the all-time leading scorer in program history and also spent time serving as head coach of the squad following her graduation. The 1976 Drexel Hall of Fame inductee continues to play a prominent role not just in the field hockey program but all of Drexel Athletics. She is a leader in the Drexel Alumni group, “The Sports Fans of the ‘50s” as well as a member of the Drexel Hall of Fame Committee. Callas Reiner has served as bench coach for several games each season throughout
