The name Trecan was originally an acronym for “Thermal Research and Engineering Canada”. Trecan’s company history and origin is steeped in combustion technology and thermal efficiency. Trecan Combustion is a Canadian company that has been designing and manufacturing snowmelters for over 35 years and to date the company has delivered over 500 machines throughout the world. Trecan operates in United States, Canada and Russia. Trecan is the only snowmelter manufacturer that builds nine different models of portable snowmelters and more than ten models of stationary snowmelters. Trecan Snowmelters are the most thermally efficient snowmelters available (approximately 98% efficiency). This is due to the submerged combustion, direct contact method of heating. The submerged method transfers the energy from the combustion process to water and snow in the melting tank. With over 35 years of engineering, manufacturing and practical experience Trecan Snowmelters are the most proven, tried and tested Snowmelters available. About IAAE Canada

IAAE Canada's primary goal is to assist airport executives in fulfilling their responsibilities to the air-ports and communities they serve, by personal development and training. Different levels of membership at IAAE Canada are obtainable to coincide with your goal to en-hance your professional development in the airport industry. In 1994 IAAE Canada was formed in the interest of serving Canadian Airport Managers and per-sonnel. It grew so well that in 2000 we incorporated as the International Association of Airport Exec-utives Canada (IAAE Canada) and still continue to grow to this day. Membership in IAAE Canada is for individuals not airports and it places equal emphasis on the employees and operators of large and small airport concerns, reflecting a membership comprised of executives from large and medi-um size airports, as well as hundreds of managers from smaller airports used by general and commercial aviation. IAAE Canada is proud to offer its premier credential the Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) "The Mark of an Airport Professional". The value of the A.A.E. mark is the public, the airport industry and the candidate knowing that only those who have proven a high level of knowledge, managerial skill, discipline and professionalism are awarded the Accredited Airport Executive designation.
