RESPONCIBILITIES

Study the job scope, contractual obligations and compliance in detail.

To plan, analyze and review all changes, variations and their impacts on milestones, overall progress and schedule and discuss the results with parties involved prior to implementing the design and schedule.

Ensure that project management functions are being clearly understood and implemented within all hierarchies and wings.

Monitor the design activities from third party consulting firms and ensure the clear objectives are set for design team members.

Direct the production of the detailed project’s plans and schedules which identifies the critical strings of the activities (critical paths) and the total project’s resource requirements.

Development of the S-CURVE for the tracking of planned vs. actual progress. Planning and calculation of required man power, equipments, tools and consumables

and streamlining of the resources.

Submission of the execution plans, method statements, rigging plans, job safety analysis, general safety plans and QA/QC documents.

Direct the preparation of the required material’s BOQs and ensure there on time availability by following up with procurement department.

Preparation of the bid clauses, work scope descriptions and comparative cost statements for the hiring of subcontracting services required during project execution.

Review and challenge the submission of contractor’s recourse histogram for man power and equipment during the mobilization and peak phase of construction activities

Monitor the pre-fabrication of piping spools, sand blasting and painting, civil excavations, onsite erections and welding of pipelines within agreed schedule from contractor.

Monitor the pneumatic testing for integrity checks and pigging for overall cleanness tests during the commissioning stages of pipelines

Ensure that all works done in accordance with the approved mechanical construction drawings, contract documents, project specification and all applicable standards.

Attending meetings with the client regarding the technical issues, performance and daily progress evaluations, risk assessments and HSE issues for safely execution of the jobs.

Take responsibility for quality of installation ensuring that both specification and design parameters are met on site. Liaise with the client's representatives in relation to inspections and ensure that their requirements are clearly understood and are being met.

Identifying bottlenecks and preparation of catch up plans. Direct the cost estimation of the change orders with maximum accuracy,

technical and commercial negotiations and ensure on time completion with in deadlines.

Coordinate with management on project control activities, project health and analytical summery and strategies the cost and man hours control during the onsite execution.

Manage and control the claims/change orders and Ensure that invoices are tracked, confirmed and handed off to accounts payable properly.
