The purposes of the Prestudy Phase is toensure, that the business idea

• is technically and commercially feasible• fulfills customer requirements• is aligned with the organization’s business direction

=> preparatory phase before the project is formally started

The purposes of the Feasibility StudyPhase is to

• decide on a project strategy• define the project goals• prepare project plans

=> preparations for successful project completion are made

The purposes of the Execution Phase is to

• ensure, that the project is managed, performed

and completed in a manner that fulfills the organizations and the customer’s

requirements=> project is executed and the outcome is handed over to the customer
