The most common mistake people make is to try & memorize everything in PMBOK. From Knowledge Areas, to Process Groups, 49 processes, ITTOs, formulas, and even definitions. I'm thankful that I realized early enough to stop wasting my time & effort to memorize. Instead, read, learn & understand the fundamentals, and apply them by doing more mock examination questions.
