So Are You Ready to Become a Genius? Pitch Us Your Idea! Now that you have explored your essential questions, it's time for you to "buy in" and commit to exploring this project. To do this, you are going to present an "elevator pitch" for your project. What is an “Elevator Pitch”? It can be summed up as follows... The term comes from the notion that an innovator with a great idea might find herself in an elevator with a powerful investor. She has a very short period of time to convince this investor to buy into her idea. She needs to deliver an elevator pitch. For your Genius Hour project, you must prepare a pitch about your Project. How long does it have to be? 30 seconds. That’s it! So be concise and convincing! As you will be delivering your pitch to the class (or your teacher) in the form of a podcast (use tablet record devices) or in front of the class. How Will You Convince Us???
