The music video and the album cover link in well together, in the album cover Taylor has her arm raised which signifies that she is dancing at a party and letting go of her problems, and as you can see from the print screen I took from the music video she does the same in the video which links the two together.

This creates some reference to what the song is called being ‘22’, which is also what the album is called, this signifies a connection between both the music video and the album cover showing relevance between them.

The fact she has her arm up in the air suggests she is partying and letting go of her problems and does not have a care in the world, which typically signifies the ways of teenagers. The mise en scene is used by the costume in which she is wearing being netted clothes and a crop top, these are fashionable clothes which is very important to portray as her target

Audience may look to her as a role model of fashion to them, this also shows that she likes to shop, a common trait with her target audience.
