The school district will actively engage all segments of the

community to provide a well-articulated, learner-centered

curriculum that results in high achievement for all students

from early childhood through secondary. The curriculum will

be facilitated by a highly qualified professional staff that

supports effective instruction with a strong focus on reading

and math literacy. Quality facilities and learning resources,

that include professional learning communities and a

continuous learning ethic, will be supported while maintaining

“In today's [educational] environment, virtually all information is stored electronically. Because networked computing is so common, legitimate

users have greater access to information than ever before. Unfortunately, this also exposes organizations to a variety of new threats that can affect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Organizations

need a way to understand their information risks and to create new strategies for addressing those risks.”

ProposalRequest proposal to assess the security of the VLAN according to the

Children's Internet Protection Act–compliant authentication and network monitoring technologies. Students should be able to log into student portion of the wireless network, where they have filtered access to the Internet but

no access to school servers. The district's content filtering system must protect students from inappropriate websites and systems.
