PROSPECTUS FOR ADMISSION INTO BAMS, BHMS and BNYS COURSES UNDER MANAGEMENT

QUOTA SEATS IN PRIVATE UN–AIDED NON–MINORITY AYUSH COLLEGES IN THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH FOR THE YEAR 2019-20

I. Regulations:

i) The following are the Regulations for admission of students into Management

Quota BAMS, BHMS and BNYS Courses in Private Un – Aided Non – Minority,

AYUSH Colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the year 2019-20.

ii) The candidates shall appear and secure rank in the NEET UG - 2019 exam.

iii) The Rank in NEET UG - 2019 shall be the basis for the selection into BAMS, BHMS and BNYS Courses subject to these regulations.

iv) The List of AYUSH Colleges: The List of the BAMS, BHMS and BNYS Colleges as in

the Regulations.

v) The admissions into the colleges are subject to the permission by the Government of India and affiliation to the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences for the academic year 2019-20.

II. Minimum age:

i) Should have completed the age of 17 years by 31st December, 2019. ii) A person born on 1st January of a year will complete one year on 31st December

of the same year.

iii) Age shall be calculated on the basis of date of birth as indicated in the Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination.

iv) No request for relaxation of age of a candidate shall be entertained.

v) Candidates born on or after 02.01.2003 are not eligible for admission in to BAMS, BHMS and BNYS courses.

III. Eligibility:

i. Candidates from all over the country are eligible for admission into UG BAMS,

BHMS and BNYS Courses and as per CCIM/CCH / Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. Vijayawada

ii The candidates should secure the following cutoff scores in National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test (NEET) UG -2019 conducted by NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY, New Delhi are eligible for BAMS, BHMS & BNYS Courses

40th Percentile 107 BC/SC/ST - PH candidates scoring equal to or more than this cut-off score have been declared as qualified

Persons with Disability (OC)

45th Percentile 120 OC - PH candidates scoring equal to or more than this cut-off score have been declared as qualified.

iv) FOR ADMISSION INTO BAMS/BHMS/BNYS COURSES:

1) The candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination recognized by the

concerned State Government and Education Board with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and

English individually and must have obtained minimum of 50 percent marks taken together in Physics,

Chemistry and Biology at the aforesaid qualifying examination in the case of general category and forty

per cent. Marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes.

or

2) The intermediate examination in science of an Indian University or Board or other recognized examining

body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also

English as a compulsory subject;

or

3) The pre-professional or pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing

either the higher secondary school examination, or the pre- university or an equivalent Examination,

which shall include a practical test in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also English as a compulsory

subject;

or

4) The first year of the three years’ degree course of a recognized University, with Physics, Chemistry and

Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination

and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course;

or

5) Any other examination which, in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the intermediate

science examination of an Indian University or Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology

including practical test in each of these subjects and English as a compulsory subject;

*Candidates who have already applied for Convenor Quota Seats in response to this University earlier notification are also eligible for the management quota seats.

Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an

institution outside the AP State should submit Eligibility / Equivalence

certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh,

to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher

than Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate

Education of Andhra Pradesh at the time of admission into the college.

Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an

institution outside INDIA should submit Eligibility / Equivalence

certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and

Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued from the Board of Intermediate

Education of Andhra Pradesh to the effect that the qualification

possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination

conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh at

the time of admission into the college.

The number of seats available for the academic year 2019-20 in BAMS,

BHMS and BNYS Courses under Management Quota in Private Un–

Aided Non–Minority, AYUSH colleges will be in accordance with the

orders of the GOI / Govt. of AP.

The number of seats under management quota is given in the Annexure appended herewith, for information.

Note: If a candidate is found to have submitted false information or concealed any

relevant information regarding this matter, such candidate is liable to be

disqualified for admission and in case already admitted, the admission will be

cancelled. Further disciplinary action against him/her will be taken by the University.

V. Fee Structure:

i) University Fee:

The selected candidates shall pay non – refundable University fee of Rs. 20,000/-

(Rupees Twenty thousand only) for BAMS, BHMS and BNYS Courses.

ii) Tuition Fee:

As per G.O.Ms.No.171 HM & FW., (F.1) Department Dt.01-11-2017, the following is the tuition fee is fixed by respective colleges under Management Quota Seats in Pvt. Un-aided Non-Minority AYUSH Colleges.

Note - : The candidates selected for AYUSH Courses have to pay the tuition fee at

the college at the time of admission.

Registration Fee: The registration fee is Rs. 3,540/-(3000+540 GST 18%) + (Bank transaction charges extra).

VI. On-line Application Form:

The On-line Application Form for determining merit position in respective categories

for management quota seats using NEET UG – 2019 from 11.00A.M. on 21.09.2019

to 5.00 P.M on 27.09.2019.

The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with

the data required-for, through internet. The online application form can be filled

through any computer with internet connection (home/internet cafe/net center). The

candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the

Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates ready to enter his/her correct data.

VII. Procedure of filling online application and Procedure for online payment:

1. The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions to fill the

Application from the website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in before proceeding to fill the application form.

2. Read the Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully.

3. Visit website http:// bahnumq.apntruhs.in through Internet Explorer 11

version only to fill the application form.

4. Keep all the following documents required:

NEET – UG 2019 Admit card issued by the CBSE. NEET – UG 2019 Score card issued by the CBSE. Date of Birth Certificate. (SSC or its equivalent certificate). Credit card / Debit card.

5. The fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking. 6. The fee paid by the applicants is not refundable and not adjusted to a future date

under any circumstances. 7. The candidate should sign at the declaration area in the print out of the online

application form.

8. The candidate should paste a passport size photograph which is similar to that applied for NEET-UG 2019 in the space provided in the print out of online application form and submit at the time of original certificates verification and Counselling.

9. The candidate should submit the print-out of the filled - in online application form along

with one set of attested copies of required certificates at the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada at the time of original certificates verification and counselling.

10. The candidature of the applicant will not be considered for admission to BAMS, BHMS

and BNYS Courses unless the print-out application form along with the requisite enclosures is submitted at the time of verification of original certificates and counselling.

NOTE: 1. The Candidates who figured in the final merit position for Competent Authority Quota Seats of the above course need not apply again.

2.They can also attend for Management Quota Seats if they are willing to opt under Management Quota ,

3. Those who have satisfied with the seat allotted and joined under Competent Authority Quota need not attend for verification.

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR DETERMINATION OF MERIT POSITION:

Do's and Don'ts Do not use mobiles and tablets to Apply. Use only computers.

Do not select or enter false information which can be liable for Criminal Action.

Avoid using slow internet facility.

Keep your mobile with you while Applying and do not block SMS.

Open the website https://bahnumq.apntruhs.in Home page displayed as follows.

1. Click on the Online Registration.

2. Registration Form appears in which Candidate has to give the details to register.

3. After entering the details click on validate button.

4. If all the details you entered is correct, You will receive the Registration number. Please Note the

Registration number for further correspondence and click OK

5. Then enter NEET Roll Number and Registration number which you have received through SMS for updating

the details of the candidate and click on Validate Button.

6. The application form will be displayed as shown below

7. After filling the form, click on Save and Exit Button. This process can be repeated till all the data

you entered is correct. Then click on Save and Pay Button to proceed for payment. Depending on

your caste category, the Registration fee is varied. Once paid you will not get any refund. Hence, you are

requested to double check the eligibility conditions yourself and pay the fee.

8. Now you will be directed to the Payment Gateway click OK

9. Select you mode of payment and Make Payment

10. After payment you will receive a Successful Payment message

11. Click OK Button. You will get your filled application form take printout of this form and affix a recent

passport size photo on the space provided and submit the form at the time of certificate verification.

VIII. Closure of Admission:

i) The Admissions through Counselling into Management Quota seats will be

closed at the end of 1st Counselling.

ii) The Candidates are not permitted to withdraw from the Course on or after the closure of admissions into Management Quota seats.

IX. Powers of the Admission Committee:

The Admission Committee shall have the power to revise its decision in any case

and to direct the Principal concerned to take further action either to select or to

cancel the selection, or to admit or cancel the admission before the closure of

admissions. Selections shall not be questioned after closure of admissions.

X. The Regulations of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences are applicable with regard to break of study, cancellation and re-admission.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES ABOUT COUNSELING FOR BAMS, BHMS and BNYS COURSES AND ANY FURTHER DETAILS.

The candidates shall attend the counseling with the following original certificates

(1) Original NEET – UG 2019 Admit card issued by the CBSE (2) Original NEET – UG 2019 Score card issued by the CBSE (3) SSC certificate or Equivalent Examination showing the Date of Birth of the Candidate. (4) Intermediate of A.P. or its equivalent examination with 10+2 pattern.

(5) Permanent Caste Certificate, if applicable.
