Admissions Information

Eligibility:-

We enroll students from many backgrounds who can combine academic ability with an enthusiasm for new

challenges. Prospective candidates seeking admission to the various programs of the institute should be fulfilling basic

minimum eligibility criteria as demanded by the specific course.

Applicants who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for the courses with us. However, this will be

a conditional offer. That is, if you enroll for a program and you fail in your final year examinations for whatsoever thereason, no fee amount will be refunded, whatever the condition may be.

Application Form & Prospectus:-

Application form can be obtained from the institute’s admission office by the student or can be downloaded

from our website www.bipmedu. org.

In case the student is unable to collect the prospectus himself/ herself, his/ her parent/ guardian may obtain the

form from the admission office. These application form duly filled in can be submitted with the requisite course fees at

the admission office. Completed application form must be accompanied with the following documents:

a) Xerox of Graduation Certificate / Degree / Final Year Mark-Sheet {where applicable}

b) Xerox of Class XII & Class X Mark-Sheet

c) 4 Passport Size Photographs

d) Xerox of ID Proof

• All candidates who enroll with BIPM will get intimation of their admission through a “Welcome Letter” which

will be sent through courier, after clearance of payments. Details regarding payment of fees at the time of admission, course & specialization opted for and details about their personal information will be mentioned in

the “Welcome Letter”.

• This will be followed by “Students ID-Card” bearing their enrollment no. which will be dispatched within 15

days of their official registration date.

Study Material:-

Courses at BIPM are designed to train the students in the most exhaustive and elaborate way of teaching. The

self-explanatory course materials train and develop the students with knowledge, skills and temperaments required for

today’s highly competitive business organizations. Students shall receive their respective course study material within

25 days of clearance of fee payment. The study material should be sufficient to cover the entire syllabus or else the

students can take help of library, internet and other sources to widen their academic horizon.

Examination System:-

All students who have enrolled themselves in various programs at BIPM are assessed on the basis of their work

and examination. Following two modes are available to the students when their exams fall due :-

1. Under the first option, known as Home Based Option, as soon as the student’s examination dates fall due,

they will be dispatched the set of question papers, which they will be required to answer from the comfort of their

homes. The students will be asked to submit the answer sheets within the prescribed time limit {time limit is course specific}; to the institute either personally or through courier / speed post.

2. Under the second option, known as Online Examination Option, prior to examination date, students will be

dispatched, about a week in advance, a user id & password through which they can log in on our website

www.bipmedu.org and appear for a three hour examination. This option can again be exercised either at

home or at any cyber café as well. For details regarding examination option, get in touch with your relationship

officers at BIPM.

The main and the supplementary examination papers are set by the internal faculty at BIPM. The exams are

conducted in the months of March / June / September / December. Supplementary exams can be given in any of the

said months by students who have either not passed the main exams or could not appear for it due to medical reasons.

Evaluation of question papers and answer scripts is carried out by BIPM with reference to an internal and

external examiner. The mark sheet and the certificate shall be dispatched to all successful candidates within one month of

the submission of the answer sheets.

Grading System:-

BIPM follows stringent guidelines for evaluation of academic achievement of the students. The grading system

under the BIPM’s regulations for its various programs is as follows:

Classification Percentage Grade

I (1st Class) 75% & above A

II-i (2nd Class – 1st Division) 65% – 74% B

II-ii (2nd Class – 2nd Division) 55% – 64% C

III (Third Class) 40% – 54% D

Fail 39% or below F



Financial Information

Payment of Fees:-

All fees and charges for registration, study material, program fees and examination fees must be made payable

to Bhartiya Institute of Planning & Management, Delhi. Payment can be made either by Cheque / Demand Draft (D.D.) /

Credit Card. Payment by cash is strictly not allowed.

You may not get your entire correspondence material until the full payment of the fees has been received by the

institute. Admission may even be withdrawn in case of non-payment.

Fees Concession :-

Fee concession of 40% in the academic fee for:

• Armed Forces

• Central Police Organizations

• War Widows

Scholarships :-

At BIPM, we believe in rewarding the hard work and excellence achieved by meritorious students in their academic

endeavours. The BIPM Scholarships have been initiated to encourage the talents of such students, thereby strengthening

For programs after 10+2

• 100% Scholarship for students securing 90% aggregate and above (including Physical Education & Fine Arts)

in CBSE / ICSE / State Boards of Class XII.

• 50% Scholarship for students securing 85% aggregate and above (including Physical Education & Fine Arts) in

CBSE / ICSE / State Boards of Class XII.

For programs after Graduation

• 100% Scholarship for students securing 910% aggregate and above (including Physical Education & Fine Arts)

in CBSE / ICSE / State Boards of Class XII and 75% in graduation.

• 50% Scholarship for students securing 85% aggregate and above (including Physical Education & Fine Arts) in

CBSE / ICSE / State Boards of Class XII and 70% in graduation.

Note :-

• Scholarship seats are limited; the mentioned percentages are only the eligibility to apply for scholarship.

• In absence of relevant mark sheets, direct admission and scholarship application will not be considered.



• Final decision of granting scholarship is with the scholarship committee and the Director – Admissions &

Enrollment Division.
