After World War' II, Benjamin Spock, the influential pediatrician, began warning that corporal punishment can traumatize children and trigger more aggressive behavior.

The rod drives out foolishness and helps the child to make wise decisions.

He had money, drugs, girlfriends, and popularity.

If you don’t buy that, then you tell Solomon and God that they are not wise.
