Our Services
Offshore provides complete financial support to our clients, offering services which range from “Virtual FD” through to accounts payable support. We tailor a financial control function which is right for your business, providing optimised and efficient outsourced solutions. We often work alongside incumbent employees to provide 360º support to individuals, teams and organisations.
Our approach is focused on client-centric system solutions which we develop to best suit your business. Ideally, systems are retained on your internal IT platform but some clients prefer full client access to a system based within our infrastructure.
Our clients are always assigned a key internal accountant, matched to your business and based on their industry experience and qualifications. If appropriate, they will be supported by a bespoke team, offering a range of experience, put together based on your specific support requirements.
When client relationships are within a regulated environment a formal SLA and governance structure will be put in place, and where the client is not regulated a suitable governance structure will be established so that you can be confident that Offshore is providing industry best practice with appropriate control structures in place.

Danny Fox – DirectorDanny has spent his entire career within the finance sector. During this time, he has gained experience in the fields of audit, client account preparation, taxation, corporate secretarial and fund administration with a focus on Private Equity funds. Danny qualified with ACCA in 2001 and became a Fellow in 2006. At Offshore, his main focus is assisting the corporate clients with their accounting function, including financial statement preparation, fund valuations, cash flow forecasts, liquidity requirements, VAT and NRL reporting.
Lucy Le Lacheur – Corporate Accounting ManagerAfter leaving the University of Exeter, Lucy gained her ACCA qualification and worked as an auditor at Deloitte LLP Birmingham. Lucy went on to work as a group accountant in the manufacturing (Mondelez International), education (Aston University) and property development (St. Modwen Properties PLC) sectors where she delivered improvements to their processes and controls, project managed and addressed technical queries. Lucy moved back to Guernsey in 2017 and joined Offshore as Corporate Accounting Manager.

Our Services
Offshore provides client accounting support to both Trust and Fund businesses as well as small independents. Our team of experts have worked with a range of clients across multiple structures and jurisdictions for many years. We draw upon our experience and apply our knowledge to prepare timely client accounts to a high standard.
Typically, each case is discussed with your client support team, and information is translated into the accounting format required by IFRS/ FRS 102 or US GAAP. Offshore usually manages any external audit process, and an experienced director is always assigned to undertake suitable review. Our work can either be undertaken on a client system or from transactional information input onto our systems.
Offshore prepares client accounts for both year ends and regulated quarterly/monthly POI funds and licences. In addition, we have significant experience in Capital Adequacy reporting requirements and are happy to undertake the bookkeeping function dependent on the nature of the relationship.
We have created a series of templates which are often used by clients to initiate, check and review each client accounting case. This approach provides a useful mechanism to regulators and clients demonstrating that suitable governance structures are in place.

Jenny McNairn – Senior Corporate Account Manager Born and educated in Guernsey, Jenny joined Ernst and Young in September 2005. Jenny became ACCA qualified with Ernst and Young Guernsey before taking on a secondment to Ernst and Young Wellington, New Zealand. Jenny joined Offshore in January 2015 having moved back to the island and working in Trust and Company administration. Jenny has been involved with a variety of corporate and private clients in addition to system installation projects for Private Equity fund structures.
Mathew Le Huray – Senior Account Manager Mathew was born and educated in Guernsey and has over twenty years of general accountancy practice experience including financial services, local businesses, tax and liquidations. Mathew qualified as an ACCA in 2006 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Association in 2011.

All our courses are delivered on tablet surface pro’s which enable the tutor to annotate the comprehensive notes provided to delegates. We’re committed to avoiding ‘death by PowerPoint’, and all courses contain exercises and group examples to maximise learning opportunities and deliver engaging education.

Will Morgan – Managing DirectorIn 2001 Will joined Ernst and Young in an audit role and qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. After leaving Ernst and Young, Will joined BPP Professional Education in Guernsey as a tutor specialising in accounting and tax. Whilst as BPP Will won a number of BPP ‘Best Tutor’ awards. Will has an exceptional knowledge of IFRS, FRS102, US GAAP and IAS, as well as being adept with a number of accounting systems.
Victoria Le Poidevin - Senior Manager - Consulting and TrainingVicky is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has over 15 years’ experience in the finance sector. After training with and spending nearly nine years at a big four accountancy firm, Vicky worked in both the Trusts and Funds sector before joining Offshore in September 2016.
Vicky enjoys adding value through the provision of effective training sessions and reducing the costs, risks or resource requirements of businesses through effective reviews and subsequent enhancement/design of controls and processes.
