As to INTANGIBLE BENEFITS, blogging leads to

9

Even intangibles could be measured by looking at LinkedIn profile stats.

or by looking at photo viewers details

or looking at the total number of posts views

or knowing how many liked the posts

or knowing how many commented

or knowing who shared the posts.

Out of the LinkedIn data, there are more insights like the trend that thegreatest # of views occur a day after posting...

16

that ping backs or including links to articles relevant to the blog really works...

and that there is no significant correlation between blog length and # of viewer activities.

Experts say that blog length should vary depending on intended results.(Source: http://thewritepractice.com/blog-post-length/)

LinkedIn profile data confirmed that longer blogs generate more views.

20

There is no significant indication of direct correlation between blog length and positive viewer responses yet.

The same LinkedIn section provides dataon further viewer demographics such as top industries

along which blog theme could be tailor-made to suit the intended audience

Observation: Percentages of viewership are highly concentrated for higher education and HR with Article # 9, while Article # 1 has the most dispersed viewer demographics. Insight: Have this as a guide on what article would be of relevance and should be written.

Top job titles data are also available

to know which articles would be more relevant to viewers

Observation: Article # 7 has less dense readership, while # 9 is the most dense in terms of viewer role title.Insight: Have this as a guide on what article would be of relevance and should be written.

Top locations are indicated as well

that could be used as guide on further blogging content customisation

Observation: Article # 1 was the least dense in viewership location while # 9 was the most dense.Insight: Have this as a guide on what article would be of relevance and should be written.

Many viewers will land on the posts through LinkedIn

and traffic could also be generated by posting links in other social media sites.

Observation: Most readers reached article # 1 through LinkedIn.com. There were more traffic sources for # 2. Facebook traffic had been the highest with article # 5.Insight: Consider posting links to blogs in other social media channels.

In a nutshell
