Course DescriptionClinical Neurology and Psychiatry for Psychiatrists (CNPP) is the most important intensive dynamic five-day review course available Offered for over 45 years it has been revamped for the new ABPN certification format Using an anonymous audience response system CNPP uses a question and answer format combined with didactics to engage the learner and comprehensively review topics in neurology and psychiatry most relevant to the revised exam CNPP stresses the clinical features evaluation diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders Topics include dementia from a variety of illnesses aphasia anosognosia and other perceptual disorders TBI seizure disorders antiepileptic drugs neurotransmitters neuroanatomy and neurological testing including CT MRI EEG and lumbar puncture The course also reviews expectable changes and illnesses of childhood and old age
