1.1 Public Consultation

Public hearing for proposed establishment of molasses / grain based distillery capacity : 120.0 KLD

alongwith Co gen Power : 3.0 MW at village Hakimpur, Tehsil : Saidpur, Distt ; Ghazipur (Uttar

Pradesh) was conducted on 30.01.2018 at 11: 00 AM within existing distillery premises.

bottling, after proposed establishment

labor requirement will be increased

four time. Local people will get

preference in unskilled employment.

development for villagers and

1. The biggest problem here is that

people of our block are 99%

farmers .There are many

industries came here, gone, they

are not even expanded. The

farmers did not get benefit from

establishment of Distillery. Once

Chini Mills established in the

area, the farmers, workers and

businessman got their benefit. If

Chobe ji about the available land and

said that you have to inform about the

available land to the management. We

will do the plantation and

beautification on land.

On the availability of land, we

will beautify the land and

plantation will be done for the

same.

been made for Water pollution and

for prevention of water pollution ?

Environment Advisor replied that

waste water will concentrate in the

Multi Effect Evaporator, then

concentrate from MEE will be

incinerate in Boiler along with

bagasse. To prevent the air pollution

bag filters will be installed. No waste

water will be discharge from the

premises.

Latest technology based

concentration and incineration

systems are proposed installation

of the same will ensure that for

water pollution control.

for stack and Bag filters ).

8. Mr Avinash Kumar

Rai, resident :

He told that once there was a Chini

Mill and Distillery, then chini has

been closed.

People have to go far away for

earning about (8000-10000). We are

happy to see the establishment of

Plant. Factory will do work for

people and you have to do work for

poor handicapped.

Environment Advisor said that we

will do work for Poor and

handicapped people according to the

Corporate social responsibility

(CSR). Plant Representative said that

cooler has been installed in Ghazipur

by the Factory and we have given 20-

20 blankets to the nearby gram

Pradhan to distribute.

Factory has distributed blankets to

some people directly. We will do

other work with the establishment of

Devariya asked that factory was

organized camp and distributed

blankets to the people timely. Factory

the expansion of plant.

Asked that environment pollution is

a serious problem you have to

encourage to the farmers for

agroforestry.

Make trees available for planting

around the field.

Plant Representative said that Free

plant will be provided in the monsoon

season for plantation.

We will provide the plants for

plantation during the monsoon

season.

We have made te provision of Rs

100.0 Lakh for Plantation in next

five years.

He asked that factory is in

Gramsbha- Hakimpur but Nandganj

is written everywhere. We want that

Hakimpur to be written everywhere.

Shri Amit Jhaa, unit head said that

we will try to change the name of

village in all document.

11. Shri Avinash Rai He said that provide the school begs

and books to school children.

Shri Amit Jha said that said work

will be done by the Gram Pradhan.

Regional officer requested to all

people that anyone wants to ask any

question then can ask freely.

In the end Regional officer ask to the people about their opinion regarding to plant establishment and present crowd was agreeing with the

establishment of plant. Director sir was declared that the public hearing procedure is completed.

At the conclusion the local farmers and other person present during the public hearing was requested to vote for or against the setting up

of the proposed industry. The majority of the people raised this hand in agreement to the setting up of the industry.
