requested to a change of agent from Rebecca Klimowicz to Regina Roper forthe license period ending June 30, 2020.

Truk’t, LLC, located at 443 E. Grand Avenue, Jeffery E. Whiteman, Agent, has submitted an application to amend the“Class B” Fermented Malt Beverage & Intoxicating Liquor License Inside Premises Extension.

Key Issues

1. Truk’t, LLC, Jeffery Whiteman, Agent, has submitted a complete application for amendment of their Class “B”Beer and “Class B” Intoxicating Liquor License.

2. The applicant is seeking to amend their premise description from Truk’t LLC’s restaurant area to extend intoBlue Collar Coffee which is located directly behind Truk’t.

3. ABLCC should review the application and make a recommendation to City Council.4. This item is on the November 18, 2019 City Council Agenda for action.

Overview/Background Information

Hatley Enterprises of Beloit, Inc., d/b/a Hats Traditional Pub is making a new application to establish a business to belocated at 435 E. Grand Avenue (formerly Sud’s O’Hanahans Irish Pub) is applying for a Class “B” Beer and “Class B”Intoxicating Liquor License for the license period ending June 30, 2020.

Key Issues

1. Hatley Enterprises of Beloit, Inc., d/b/a Hats Traditional Pub is requesting to establish their business in the Cityof Beloit with a Class “B” Beer and “Class B” Liquor License for the license period ending June 30, 2020.

2. A complete application with publication fees has been submitted to the Clerk’s office is being referred to theABLCC for their November 12, 2019 agenda by the City Council on November 4th via the consent agenda.

3. Sud’s O’Hanahans surrendered their license to the City on June 28th, 2019 after the business closed, and theproperty is being sold and an anticipated closing is to occur on or before November 30, 2019.

4. The Applicant has negotiated a Commercial lease with Haynes Grand Properties LLC to operate the business atthat location. Once the property closes, Mr. Hatley intends to do some remodeling prior to open late winter, orearly spring. Being granted this license is a critical piece of the business plan for this property so they areseeking the license immediately to ensure the plan can go forward.

5. The ABLCC will review the application to assure conformity with existing rules, regulations and zoningordinances of the city and state and will make a recommendation to the Council based on their review.

6. This City Council will take action on the recommendation of the ABLCC at their November 18, 2019 regularmeeting.
