The above rate is inclusive of all taxes, freight charges at Stockyard/ dealer’s godown. Necessary lead charges (i.e. excluding loading andunloading charges) as applicable as per conveyance table may be allowedfrom the stockyard / dealer’s godown to the site of work, if duly certified byan officer not below the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer.3.  GENERAL NOTE1. 

For special nature of works, for which rates are not covered in theSchedule of Rates, such as road works, water supply, drainage, etc.,separate schedule of rates issued by the respective officers /

department / board are to be followed.2. Extra percentage other than those for the specified areas noted below,shall not be allowed.1. 

For the Entire State(i) An extra 10%on Labour, Rates of work where human labour alone isinvolved and for Head load shall be allowed for the works in respect of 

Municipal Corporationsviz. (I) Chennai City and 32 Km belt aroundChennai City limit (II) Coimbatore Corporation limit (III) Trichy Corporationlimit, (IV) Madurai Corporation limit, (V) Salem

allowed for the works in theMunicipallimits. This extra percentage shall be applicable only for the municipalareas where different extra percentages allowed already.(iii) 

An extra 10% forRates of labour and Rates of work where human labouralone is involved shall be allowed forsewer works under unhygieniccondition.(iv) 

An extra 20%over the rates of labour, Rates of work where humanlabour alone is involved and conveyance charges shall be allowed for worksin the campus of central jails.
