My career path is somewhat unusual, because I started my PhD in Helsinki, but moved to

Switzerland in the middle. At that point, I submitted what I had ready as a licentiate thesis at

the University of Helsinki. For this reason it may appear that my PhD was written in only two

years in Switzerland.
