PureBoxPureBoxTMTM CMBRCMBR Specifications
are capable of rejecting suspended solids greater than0.04 microns in size. This results in a superior efflu-ent quality with less than 5 mg/l BOD and less than 1mg/l total suspended solids.
Electrical All electrical construction is done to
recognized standards. Rigid or flexible PVC con-duit and PVC junction boxesare used to prevent corro-sion. Only NEMA 4X non-metallic enclosures are used.All electrical systems arethoroughly tested before thetreatment system is shipped.
Controls - The CMBR isequipped with a computerizedcontrol system with an LCDtouch screen operator inter-face. Manual overrides areavailable for all control func-tions. All necessary operatingdata is monitored and logged.
Data is available for local download or remote trouble-shooting via telephone, cellular, or satellite modem.
Documentation All systems are provided with a
complete set of documentation which includes com-ponent O&M manuals and wiring diagrams.
The RODI Systems PureBoxTM CMBR systems incor-porate a number of specifications which make them ahigh quality choice for your wastewater treatment andrecycling application.
Bioreactor - The bioreactor is comprised of polypro-pylene or steel tanks. On smaller systems, the biore-actor is mounted inside theequipment container. On largersystems, the bioreactor is
mounted inside an open topcontainer and is designed to belocated next to the equipmentcontainer. The bioreactor isfurnished with all of the neces-sary piping connections.
Equipment Container - Theblowers, filtrate pump, recircula-tion pumps, instrumentation,and control system are housedin a modified dry cargo shippingcontainer. Modifications includewaterproof flooring, insulation on ceiling and walls,overhead lighting and power outlets, and air condition-ing and heating (if necessary).
Membrane Modules- The CMBR utilizes submergedflat-plate membrane modules. These modules areconstructed on an advanced polymeric material and

Climate Control The container housing the sys-
tem can be equipped with approximately 2 inchesof solid foam insulation covered with rigid water-
proof plastic. The container may also be equippedwith an electric heater.
Ultraviolet Treatment Additional
bacterial protection can be providedin the form of a UV treatment systemon the filtered water before finalchlorination.
Operator Training Training is avail-
able at RODIs facility for those indi-viduals responsible for operating andmaintaining the PureBoxTM systems.Training and technical support are also available onsite for most locations.
