Checks whether specific parameters exist and whether their values correspond to a specific section of the root part name.

Example: The Parameter MyNumber must exist and its value must match the content of the root part name at position 28 to 36.

It offers a new “Filter by document type” to easily select only Part/Shape, Product, Drawing, …, as well as Product + Part/Shape + DrawingOptions to “check all models in a folder”, “check models recursively” (please use with care) are available via right mouse click – Note: the options are applied on the filtered folder content.

Q-Doctor geometrical healingFor certain geometry errors Q-Doctor geometrical healing can be used to create a healing feature

A healing feature is a repaired reproduction of a violated geometry feature, which is added to the model.

Presently eight criteria support Q-Doctor Q-Doctor requires the additional license: TC-qcheckerV5-qdoctorQ-Doctor is available in CAA-Interface on Windows, only


(1) Select a violated element

(2) Press the „Activate / Deactivate for geometrical healing (Q-Doctor)“ button the element is marked

(3) Run Q-Doctor Q-Doctor creates the healing feature
