DATES The First Quarter Report (Q1) grading period ends on October 15th. PowerSchool will pull grades based
on the grading period’s last day, 10/15. Teachers have three days to catch up with grade entering for
assignments that were due on or before that date. It is important to understand that for ANY
assignment to be counted for a report it MUST have a due date equal or prior to that end date. If you
plan on counting an assignment that was for some reason collected after the end date, just fudge the
due date back to before the cutoff.
Quarter grades must be finalized by 4:00 PM on 10/19/17.
ATTENDANCE INFORMATION You can create and view or print an attendance summary that will show the total number of absences
and unexcused tardies for the grading term.
1. Open the Teacher Portal and go to the student backpack as
you would to print your weekly attendance report.
2. Just below the Weekly Attendance Review is a report called
Attendance Summary. Click this report.
3. Select the appropriate grade term and click Submit.
4. The Q1 column will show the number of unexcused absences and tardies that should be used to
determine the U citizenship code for the Quarter Report. The S1 column would be used to
determine grade comments such as Code 24 Excessive Absences.
