    HCL headquartered at Noida, near Delhi, the companycomprises two publicly listed Indian companies, HCLTechnologies and HCL Info systems.

    HCL was focused on addressing the IT hardware marketin India.

    organization needs to employ someone up to the point at

    which application forms for the post have arrived at the

    organization.

    Selection then consists of the processes involved in

    choosing from applicants a suitable candidate to fill a

    post.

    The Recruitment and Selection procedure carried outin HCL INFOSYTEMS LTD involves 3 major roundsthat are APTITUDE ROUND, TECHNICALROUND and HR ROUND, on the basis of which the

    Selection of the appropriate candidate is done, 60% of employees say, that there is No Fixed Time

    for manpower planning and 30% says that manpowerplanning is done yearly and 10% employees say that

    manpower planning is done quarterly, Most of the employees have a clear knowledge about

    the companys vision, mission and objectives. Andthey know how to achieve their objectives.

    Manpower requirement for each department in thecompany should be identified well in advance.

    The recruitment and selection procedure should not

    to be lengthy and time consuming.

    Time management is very essential and it should not

    be ignored at any level of the process.

    The candidates called for interview should beallotted timings and it should not overlap with each

    other.

    Data collected is based on questionnaire.

    The sample size is limited by 100.

    The information collected by the observation methodis very limited.

    The result would be varying according to theindividuals as well as time.

    Some respondents hesitated to give the actualsituation; they feared that management would takeany action against them.

    The findings and conclusions are based on knowledgeand experience of the respondents sometime may

    subject to bias.

    This presents the summary of the study and survey done in relation

    to the Recruitment and Selection in HCL-INFOSYTEMS LTD.

    The conclusion is drawn from the study and survey of the companyregarding the Recruitment and Selection process carried out there.

    The recruitment process at HCL-INFOSYTEMS LTD to someextent is not done objectively and therefore lot of bias hampers thefuture of the employees.

    That is why the search or headhunt of people should be of those

    whose skill fits into the companys values.

    Most of the employees were satisfied butchanges are required according to the changing

    scenario as recruitment process has a greatimpact on the working of the company as a freshblood, new idea enters in the company.

    Selection process is good but it should also bemodified according to the requirements and jobprofile so that main objective of selecting thecandidate could be achieved.
