Since the laity, in accordance with their state of life, live in the midst of the world and its concerns, they are called by God to exercise their apostolate in the world like leaven, with the ardor of the spirit of Christ.

The very testimony of their Christian life and good works done in a supernatural spirit have the power to draw men to belief and to God; for the Lord says, even so let your light shine before men in order that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heav-en. — Pope Paul VI, excerpts from Apostolicam Actuosi-tatem

Phone Contact Updates We realize that many people have dropped their landline phone and are going wireless; we ask that you update the parish office (812-836-2481) with your current cell-phone number/contact information or place this information in an envelope and drop it in the collection basket. This will help keep our records current and will be very helpful for various reasons when we may need to call you. A cellphone number can be added in addition to your landline number to have more than one contact number on file.

Altar Society Dues Ladies of St. Mark Altar Society dues of $5 for 2020 can be placed in the envelopes provided at the entrance to the church and dropped in the collection basket. Your dues help fund parish socials such as, the annual Seder Supper and the graduation breakfast, etc. All la-dies of the parish are welcome to become a member by simply pick-ing up an envelope and paying the dues with your name provided.
