Upon reviewing the slip and boat in question, the directors have evaluated the criteria below in

determining whether or not to approve the requested boat length in the requested slip and have

determined that it:

IS ALLOWED / IS NOT ALLOWED (circle one)

Evaluation Criteria A. “Impedes” Would the placement of this boat in this slip impede the use of another member’s use of their boat? Yes or No B. “Prevents Safe Passage” Would placement of this boat in this slip prevent safe passage for

other QYC members and/or Trexler’s Marina customers? Yes or No

Directors A. “Impede” (yes/no)

B. “Prevent safe passage” (yes/no)

If majority of directors vote “No” to both A & B, then the boat will be allowed.

Things to consider when making the determination:

- Orientation of boat (a high bow may present more of a hazard than a low swim platform)

- Is the boat longer or shorter than neighboring slips or a previously approved boat in the same slip

- Navigation during windy or inclement weather

- Unfamiliar boaters (both navigating the boat in question and around the boat in question)

- Boats accessing the Trexler’s Marina service area (fuel, service, rental, valet, etc.)

- Marina fairways for other boats to navigate around the boat in question

- QYC boat length regulations

- Boat maneuverability in and out of the slip
