Plan Age Bracket: 15-34This is justified by the fact that 7-34yr olds make up the majority of the cinema population. A total of 64% of audiences fall within this category, despite the fact that this bracket makes up only 40% of the population.Therefore it was important to make the film appeal to this specific group. We therefore include a girl of age 15, and centred the film around the life of the girl. This was an attempt to create a bond with the audience and provide an incentive for people within this age bracket to see the film.We were also aware of how fashion conscious both teenagers and young adults are, therefore deliberate use of things that were perhaps fashion conscious, such as the trainers of the girl who is pushing the young boy on the swing, were deliberately included without diluting the content of the film to just try and appeal to young people.

I believe we subverted from the convention of using heart throb actors in our thriller, this was perhaps due to our inability to access Hollywood heart throb actors, however I believe that for our film the use of a heart throb actor would not successfully create the desired representation as we do not wish for the audience to create a connection with our main character.Although we could evaluate this by saying that by including a heart throb we would be more likely to draw a higher audience level.
